Miss Joy Gibbs of Cobram won the Belle of the Ball at the Church of England Ball in Berrigan last Wednesday.

Felton Grim wade and Duerdins officials will visit Cobram district next week to contact growers about planting Nicotiana Rustica. The crop, a close relative of common tobacco, needs very rich soil, preferably fertile river flats with good drainage and space for drying under cover.
