Melborne musings on fashion, transit and boom times
A Melbourne writer rambles about color in dress fabrics, old time tailors, and bustling Bourke Street. He notes buses to be scrapped after the war, protests crowded tram stops, and a London-style appetite for variety in eateries. He recalls land booms, auctioned allotments, and a storied aviation journalist with a long career.
