Carmichael won an 18 hole stroke competition with a score of 80. Other scores listed include Coates 75, Kennedy 73, O Connor 73, Davies 76, Stillard 76, Orrall 84, Besaber 80.
Archibald Henderson, a Scot, sought £1752 from Mr and Mrs Babington in Tocumwal claiming funds from his grandmother’s will and a declaration that 120 acres known as Blake's at Yarroweyah North was his property. Mrs Babington denied receiving the money and countersued for £101. The case, heard by Mr Justice Wasley, explored why Henderson’s monies were handled and whether the land was bought for him or as tenants in common. The hearing extended to further settlement talks.

In aid of Mooroopna Hospital, a charity clash between League and Association drew a disappointing attendance amid poor road conditions. League won 9 goals 11 behinds to 7 goals 5 behinds, with Kennedy, Patterson, Lease, Howells, Babidge, O'Brien and Clements standout for the winners as Cobram and No. League hosts loom for next week's Murray League kickoff.
