Constable and Mrs Hutchins and Graeme Maslen with Bob Glover are on annual holidays in Melbourne. The Crosby party holidayed in Cobram with Jim Crosby and Mr Crosby’s family in Melbourne. Max and Beverley Crosby visited Melbourne and stayed with Constable Faoit at Cobram. Stodim Gigdens spent the long weekend at home in Melbourne.
The Health Inspector reports to the shire council after inspections across towns including Cobram and Katamatite. He notes progress in sanitation, exits kept clear, septic tanks being addressed, grease traps explained, and street channels improving with recent clean food samples meeting standards.
The Cobram State School Mothers' Club wireless appeal has raised £14 4s for a wireless set. The note asks readers if they have sent in their donation.
