James McCarty Dies After Long Illness in Corowa Hospital

After a lengthy illness, James McCarty died in Corowa Hospital on Sunday morning. Born at Kilmore in 1872, he moved with his parents to Springfield, lived at Rosebank Tungamab, married Jean M Donald, and ran a property at Mr Gwynne for 47 years before illness. Survived by wife and four daughters, Dorothy Hicks, Isabel Toohey, Blyeen Brooks, Florence Quinane, and son James Gwynne.
