The death occurred at his Cobram residence on Sunday afternoon of Mr Donald Ef Sims a longtime Cobram district pioneer aged 73 He had been ill off and on but refused bed rest returning from Melbourne to greet the Royals and died suddenly Cobram resident since 1906 he left a widow and 12 children and several grandchildren The funeral was held on Monday with a long cortege to Cobram cemetery conducted by the Church of England clergyman and arranged by J T Macfarlane
