The 36 sections for the Flower Show and Sale of Work at Mechanics Hall on Friday afternoon and evening attracted many entries. Stalls will offer afternoon tea ice cream soft drinks cake and an apron bar as the guild marks its first annual show with much community support.

Soldier Settlers Carnival Draws Large Entries

Cob Ram RSL Holds April Meeting and ANZAC Plans
The Cob ram RSL met April 3 at Mechanics Hall with president and 16 members present due to wet weather. They discussed last union ideas for next year and planned ANZAC Day ceremonies with Digger Evans leading the march to Memorial Avenue and wreath laying, followed by a service at the hall. A working bee is set for April 16 at the club room for volunteers.
