Welsh man jailed for kidnapping and family plights amid gang hunt

Tilluun Wales, 24, was sentenced to five years imprisonment after pleading guilty to kidnapping lgerze Weyerlauser, a 7 year old. His wife Margaret, 49, in delicate health, received a similar sentence. William Madan, gang leader, remains at large as authorities continue the hunt. London report notes Perry the tennis star plans to become a businessman and move to Australia, with a five year contract and a likely August departure to Sydney.

Britain to seek Abyssinia protectorate role in crisis

In a bid to avert war in Abyssinia Britain plans to urge Abyssinia to accept a protectorate status with access to the sea. Emperor Selassie, in Addis Ababa, addressed the League of Nations as it watches the crisis. Elsewhere Justice Halse Togers refused a writ of prohibition, stopping the coroner’s inquest into James Smith’s death on Patrick Deady’s murder charge.

Perth murder case linked to jewellery robbery suspects

Matthews Walsh aged 24 and Gull aged 21 appeared in City Court charged with vagrancy linked to the murder of Edgar Arthur Whitfield, 60, caretaker, on February 6 in Perth. Prosecution says a February 5 jewellery store murder yielded £4927 worth of jewels. Walsh and Gull allegedly possessed stolen property and shifty funds from the West Australian robbery. they were remanded.
