Old Pioneer Bob Bradshaw and the Cloncurry wagon days

An aging patient at Cloncurry Hospital recalls a life as a high country carrier. Bob Bradshaw, famed for hauling ore and timber, started with two bullick wagons at seventeen and built a fleet through multiple cattle and mining camps. He remembers fellow drivers and the rough frontier routes between Normanton, Croydon, Hughenden, and Cloncurry, ending his days in hospital care.
