Wool industry prosecutions dismiss under shearers award

Industrial Magistrate at Winton dismissed two Australian Workers union prosecutions against James Gynch, Daniel Lye, and others over station hands and wool rolling duties. The cases questioned whether a shearing contractor and station hands violated the Woolclassers and Expert Grinders Awards by combining duties. The judge found no breach by the defendants and ordered costs against the complainant.
