From Chicago comes news that Friday June 2 the Bishop formally deposed Rev Charles Edward Cheney from the ministry. Cheney was absent. The Queen opened the new St Thomas's Hospital on Wednesday with a royal procession from Windsor to Paddington. The party was met by a guard of honour and a large attendance including princes, duchesses, and eminent peers. A formal address was presented after the National Anthem.
