Wake the Giant festival marks fifth anniversary in Thunder Bay
Wake the Giant drew about 6000 attendees at Marina Park for a one day festival celebrating Indigenous students arriving in Thunder Bay. Organizers highlighted on stage performances by Arkells Galantis Walk Off the Earth and Coleman Hell with Dennis Franklin Cromarty High School students helping and Debra Thomas rapping. Final counts pending but attendance exceeded expectations as families and local talent energized the waterfront event.
