Seven blue-green algae cases reported near Thunder Bay region
Public health officials say seven confirmed blue-green algae cases this season exist in the Thunder Bay area, one fewer than in 2023. The latest bloom was found Sept. 21 in Marie Louise Lake at Sleeping Giant Provincial Park. Officials urge avoiding affected waters for two weeks after blooms disappear. Suspected blooms can be reported to Ontario Spills Action Centre.

Rebate Among Initiatives to Assist Businesses
Three federal measures aid small and medium firms with funding and rules.
