Police chat group targets victim in Vancouver assault case
A disciplinary ruling finds Narinder Dosanjh discreditable for sharing a courtroom commentary about a Vancouver officer’s sexual assault testimony. The post mocked the complainant as a “bad drunk” and suggested her case would not be proven, reflecting a broader police culture that questions victims and penalizes whistleblowers. The complainant, still policing with another agency, says the decision vindicates her and highlights ongoing fear among female officers.
