Modular units have arrived for a temporary Cat Lake nursing station to be opened by late April. Chief Wesley credits weather and Ottawa support after the March 2 fire that destroyed the previous facility. Indigenous Services Canada provided 2.8 million for purchase transport and setup, with nurses to begin in a temporary structure until the new station is ready. Eighty two residents evacuated to Thunder Bay remain there until operations resume. A boil water advisory has been lifted.
