Thunder Bay library touts central location plan
The Thunder Bay Public Library released its 2024 masters facilities plan targeting longer operating hours and more space. It proposes a central library at Intercity Shopping Centre with about 40 percent more space, plus extended evenings and weekend hours, to support programming and partnerships.

Wet weather delays upkeep at municipal cemetery
Conmee Township plans a cleanup of its sole cemetery off Highway 1117 once weather allows. Chief administrator Shara Lavallee notes persistent rain has limited recent maintenance and residents have taken to trimming grass around grave stones while the township awaits approval of an updated cemetery bylaw by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario.
