Lighthouse Carnival Light Up Shores of Sleeping Giant Island
A stormy weekend at the lighthouse on an island 15 kilometres east of Sleeping Giant Provincial Park featured a crowded carnival with music food painting and tours. Dave Muir and family stayed in the keeper’s dwelling while 55 volunteers and visitors enjoyed boating, fishing, hiking and shoreline activities amid dramatic skies and a light show over Lake Superior.
