Day parole was revoked for Kerry Sim known as Kelly Ellard after she breached drug abstinence conditions. The Parole Board stated she tested positive for methamphetamine or claimed a false positive and remains high risk, with a history of noncompliance and disruptive behavior. Sim, now 42, was given a life sentence for second degree murder in 2005 for the 1997 drowning of Reena Virk, while accomplice Warren Glowatski later received parole in 2010.
