Mother denied bail in abandonment case in Quebec
A 34 year old mother charged with criminal negligence causing bodily harm and unlawful abandonment of a child was refused bail in Salaberry de Valleyfield Quebec. She faces a 30 day psychiatric evaluation and will return to court August 8. The missing girl, reported June 15 in Coteau du Lac, was found June 18 alive by Ontario police drone search efforts near a road about 50 kilometres from the Quebec border.
