Feds warned about immigration impact on housing and services

SIU clarifies 911 call did not report violence in home

The Special Investigations Unit says the first 911 call about a domestic disturbance at Jenna Ostberg's Thunder Bay home on Dec 30 was not about violence. Police did not respond to multiple calls, and Ostberg was later found deceased. autopsy results are pending while witnesses are interviewed.

Province invests in bail compliance and warrants grant

Ontario allocates over 3 million dollars to establish bail compliance and warrant apprehension teams in Northwestern Ontario over three years.
