Canadian tourist survives Hawaii cliff plunge and sea ordeal
A 27 year old Canadian man driving a rented Jeep fell 20 metres from a dirt trail on Hawaii's Big Island near South Point while heading to watch sunrise. He crawled out then fell into the ocean and was rescued about 100 metres offshore after about 90 minutes in the water. He was treated for minor scrapes and hypothermia and released from hospital.
