Liberals and NDP strike deal on universal diabetes and birth control access
The Liberal Party and NDP confirm a pact to provide free diabetes medications and contraception to Canadians with health cards through a national pharmacare plan. The agreement, part of their supply-and-confidence deal, aims to introduce legislation in the Commons next week with coverage including insulin and related devices, but excludes Ozempic.
