Thunder Bay trims metered parking enforcement hours
City council reduced meter enforcement from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. back to 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on-street metered spots surface lots and the waterfront are affected with rates at 2 dollars per hour in 15 minute increments and Market Square at 3 dollars. Officers will stop enforcing before 9 a.m. and after 6 p.m. beginning immediately following a Tuesday change. complimentary holiday parking starts Dec 16 and the Construction Zone Parking Exemption in the downtown north core ends Dec 16 with hoods removed from meters and runs until Jan 1.
