The Ministry of Transportation has not yet decided if four-lane sections of Highway 11 17 near Thunder Bay will see a higher speed limit. By contrast, Ontario's 400-series highways and a 60 km stretch of Highway 69 will rise to 110 km/h from 100 km/h on July 12, based on safety assessments and public input.
