A Victorian prospectus advertising Elucidations of Interesting Passages in the Sacred Volumes adapted for schools. The notice praises the works for combining instruction with interest, notes endorsements by religious leaders, and highlights end-of-section questions for catechism. It promotes the volumes for youth education and parental use.
A long excerpt describes Dr Keith and the Quarterly Review debate on his Evidence of Prophecy. References to interviews declined and a pamphlet defending Keith are noted. Publication details for two editions of Keiths works are listed with publishing houses in Edinburgh and London.
A report and epistle compilation from the Quakers Yearly Meeting printed in 1836. Includes notes, corrections, additions from Christian Advocate extracts, with a second edition offered by John Stephens Fleet Street. Also advertised is Joseph Forsyth's multi pamphlet work defending the Eternal Sonship of Jesus.
