A Variety Entertainment will be held on Oct 28 at Sardis Parish Hall near the Anglican Church funds. The program features a one act comedietta, dialogues, songs and dances with doors opening at 8 pm and show starting at 8 30 pm.
From Sardis and Chilliwack area, Englishborn Mr Thompson of Fairview Stock Farm won 25 prizes at the Provincial Fair including ten firsts and the Silver Cup for Ayrshire stock. He aided by D.F. Fetterly of 70 acres near Chilliwack with seven first prizes for English Berkshire hogs. Thompson is a director of Eden Bank Creamery and BC Dairymen's Association vice-president.
