An adjourned City Council meeting with all members present except Alderman Jackson approved purchasing an Acre street sweeper from Chilliwack Implement and Produce Co. for 438.80, to arrive in about ten days. They accepted W R David as auditor, and Hooper recommended 875 to the Robinson contract for City Hall work delayed since Sept. 14. The council also received amendments to the Local Improvement Clauses Act and discussed private city business.
