Women's Institute Meeting Highlights Care of Children Talk
Mrs L A Patton delivered a strong paper on child care at the Women’s Institute Tuesday afternoon. The session featured two simple desserts by Mrs H J Barber and Mrs W Knight, plus routine business and a cordial welcome back to President Mrs W W Davies. County Court set for Sept 6 in Chilliwack with a lengthy docket to be disposed of. A A Kelly of Spokane Interstate fair notes that showing beets teaches more than growing and skilled growers gain education from exhibits.
