Regional plan consultation gathers input from Peace farmers
The Peace River Regional District hired Don Cameron Associates to draft the first regional Agricultural Plan for the BC Peace. Farmers voiced concerns about water rights and ALR lands, urging better district communication and agriculture-first water policies during droughts. Satellite imagery supports local farmers on crop conditions as the draft progresses.
