Chetwynd Forms Family Court and Youth Justice Committee
The Chetwynd Family Court and Youth Justice Committee, formed in May, links court systems with the community to raise awareness and involvement. It reports to the mayor, council, and B C Attorney General, observes court proceedings, tracks sentences and delays, and supports youth diversion through community service programs. Members include Mercedes Moffat (chair), Pat Cooke, Bill Evans, Ray Cunningham, Gloria Clark, Jean Hicks, and Grace Allen.
