A Bowser Basin find confirms that dinosaurs crossed western Canada 125 million years ago. Pioneering fossil turtle and three toed raptor footprints were uncovered north of Terrace by a federal provincial team led by BC energy ministry geologist Mike Boddy and SFU’s Peter Mustard. The fossils will be displayed at the Royal BC Museum as researchers plan follow up exploration, boosting fossil field prospects in the Sustut and Bowser basins.
