Hudson's Hope Hosts New Daycare and Health Unit Plans
Prime Industries employee Don Mamm finishes a new daycare near Northern Lights College operated by the Chetwynd Childcare Society, with up to 25 three to five year olds and spots for students' children. The health unit project in Hudson's Hope won a $3.19 million bid from Prokam Construction, with work to begin and exterior completion planned before winter. Seven warning sirens, funded by B C Hydro at $215,000 plus annual maintenance around $3,000, will be placed at key community points to warn citizens if the W A C Bennett Dam fails, with a 10 year lifespan.
