Local strikers block CN Rail trains in Chetwynd
CRS workers in Chetwynd halted all CN Rail trains on September 5 citing principle and wages. Union steward Sandy Fellers said salt cargo is locked down until a deal is reached with CN representatives from Prince George. Four CRS members in Chetwynd and 38 in the region are affected as talks with mediator Vince Ready continue.
