Bath tub race attracts fall program preregistration plans
Fall recreation pre registration set for Friday September 14 from noon to 4 pm at the Rec Centre lobby. Crafts fair planned for November 28 in the High School Gym with follow up contact Helen Toppin. The Moberly Lake Volunteer Fire Department hosted a weekend bathtub race with winners Ken Cross Mike Greenwood and August Ralph Rohel receiving trophies and prize money while supporters contributed to the fire department fund.

New church dedication for Chetwyn by LDS Church
The Latter Day Saints dedicated a new church in Chetwyn on Sunday September 9 with District President Woolley officiating. About sixty members and guests attended. the church, a permanent meeting place, replaces prior gatherings in community halls and is located in the Rodeo Ground subdivision.
