First annual Moberly Lake Bathtub Race underway
Edna Cross reports the first Moberly Lake Bathtub Race held Sunday September 2 sponsored by Moberly Lake Volunteer Fire Department. About 800 spectators watched seven tub competitors launch from the shore, with Trevor MacLean steering the M.L.F.D. boat to victory in roughly 20 miles and 49 minutes as rival boats faltered.
