Chetwynd Grants Literacy Funds For Community Programs
The province grants 17998 dollars to Chetwynd Public Library for adult literacy programs in partnership with Northern Lights College and Tansi Friendship Centre. Programs include a Cree language and culture oral literacy class at NLC and a six six-week session Food for Thought Community Kitchen using cooking to teach math reading nutrition and food literacy. Registration starts Sept 9 for October start. programs are free.
