Farmers Advocate Office aims to aid landowners in oil and gas negotiations
Regional District funds part of a 240000 dollar budget to launch the Farmers Advocate Office in Aspen Grove. Co owner Anne Clayton and Elvin Gowman will offer advocacy and research on lease values to farmers and rural residents, creating a searchable database within 18 months. The project includes a virtual office via New Harvest Media to provide self help information and lease data, while officials anticipate public access to mediation board data under future laws.
