Rival vehicles collide on Snake Pit Road injuring two
On September 2, 2003 just before midnight a Dawson Creek woman in a Mercury Topaz traveling southbound crossed into the oncoming lane on Snake Pit Road near Rolla Highway and hit a northbound full size pickup driven by an Edmonton man. The car left the road and plunged down an embankment about ten feet. The driver sustained serious injuries while the pickup driver had minor injuries. Alcohol may have been a factor and the case remains under investigation by the Dawson Creek RCMP.
