Sheep Grazing to Protect Young Trees in Forestry Plan
A herd of 747 sheep graze on a Westcoast valley block to curb veg press and aid silviculture efforts funded by Forest Renewal B.C. Dennis Sabourin of Silent Running oversees the program with H and J Browsing under two-year contracts. Two shepherds and guards manage the flock as veterinarians praise the health of the sheep.
