The deadline for nominations for the five thousand dollar British Columbia Senior Citizen of the Year Award has been moved to September 30. Neville Scarfe of Brock House Society announced the inaugural 1984 award for a Canadian resident aged 65 or older who has made a distinguished community contribution.

They plan to finish drilling within a week and replant the claim with grass. They will spend the winter in Calgary writing reports on the expedition.

PRAHTA Promotes Region in Alaska Highway Tour

Vehicle crash near Bullmoose Flats injures Grande Prairie residents
On August 26, 1984 a single vehicle accident occurred ten miles north of Bullmoose flats involving two Grande Prairie residents. Both were hospitalized in Dawson Creek with about 3000 in vehicle damages. An attempted break in at the Country Squire Inn is under investigation. Two impaired charges were laid this past week.
