In Chetwynd local softball, men and women battled heat during weekend round robin to seed double knockout play. KAOS and Murray's Liquor Lashes clashed in a tense women’s semi final with Lashes winning a dramatic late dash, earning a share of the $800 purse. Men's action saw Creekers take first, Murray's Liquor Express Song second, and Pub Hound Dogs third, with prizes of 800, 400 and 200 dollars.
