Logging truck driver escapes accident near Chetwynd

Stan Siegenberg reports a logging truck from Kurt Leroy Trucking Ltd veered off Highway 9 south of Chetwynd at about 8:30 a.m. The driver survived with minor injuries and was taken to Chetwynd General Hospital. An oil spill occurred. Diane's Disaster Clean-up and Flagging Services attended the scene. RCMP and BCAS investigated the cause, which remains unclear.
