Dinosaur bone returns to Tumbler Ridge as history meets paleontology
In July 2001 palaeontologist Rich McCrea found a second BC dinosaur bone near Flatbed Creek, part of a site where footprints and bones were first documented together. Since then nearly 300 bones have been found in the Tumbler Ridge area, boosting research, tourism, and regional exhibits. The bone is returned from The Exploration Place in Prince George to join local museum collections and future displays.
