Hudson's Hope backs AMOCO drilling with conditions
Hudson's Hope Municipal Council approves AMOCO's Carbon Creek Exploration with safeguards. The letter to Minister Ann Edwards requests guidelines for future activity, bans alpine drilling and vehicle access, creates a no hunting zone, and designates the road private while monitoring with a committee including locals AMOCO and a ministry inspector. The plan awaits Ethno-Historical study results.
