Waste receiving centre planned for Dawson Creek area
Dawson Creek and the Peace River Regional District plan a 3.5 million trucked waste receiving facility to serve rural residents and work camp operators. The site, to be built by end of 115th Avenue, would accept septic waste into municipal sewage and include an RV dump. Industrial users likely share most costs amid rising sewage handling volumes.
