Chetwynd Rotary food drive challenges clubs to raise more
Chetwynd Rotary Club with 22 members donated 27 bags of groceries to the Tansi Friendship Centre food bank on Oct 9 and issued a challenge to other clubs to see who can donate the most. Bob Clarke organized the drive, citing the Echo ad urging help and the theme Show Rotary cares. The food bank, now run by Tansi, seeks non perishables as it continues toward self sufficiency.
