Watch for wildlife on highways in Prince George area
Drivers in Prince George BC are urged to watch for moose and deer this mid October on high risk routes along Highway 2 to the Alberta border and Highway 97 to Fort St John. The Wildlife Collision Prevention Program notes October to December are peak months with daily wildlife crashes in the Peace region and advises caution from 6 to 8 am and 5 to 7 pm. RCMP will display wildlife warning signs and speed readouts to remind drivers to slow and adjust to road conditions.
