Anglo American buys 12.18 percent Peace River Coal stake

Vancouver based Northern Energy and Mining sells its 12.18 percent stake in Peace River Coal LP to Anglo American of Britain for 73 million cash. Anglo now holds 86.18 percent, with Hillsborough Resources and Vital Anker International retaining the rest. Peace River Coal operates the Trend mine near Tumbler Ridge BC and flags Belcourt Saxon Roman Mountain and Horizon as potential producers.
