Crowle's Guardians painting chosen for regional art calendar
Ken Crowle of Chetwynd was the sole local artist selected among 18 works for the Peace-Liard Regional Arts Council Millenium project calendar running from July 1999 to 2000. His watercolor titled Guardians of our Font features a surreal waterfall and dinosaurlike rocks, created from Bijoux photos but not connected to that site. Crowle, a professional artist who runs Signature Signs and Framing, also teaches art locally and has previously submitted to juried shows and had work exhibited in Victoria.
