Willow Creek Coal Mine Sends First PCI Coal Shipment to Asia
Pine Valley Mining Corporation began commercial scale production at Willow Creek in late July with 45 000 tonnes monthly. The first PCI coal shipment to Asia marks a revenue milestone and supports a plan to reach 2 million tonnes per year while reducing debt. Local MLA Blair Lekstrom calls it hopeful for families and jobs in the northeast.
